The JBW Robertson Cup is a grading based cup restricted to a lower rating and played on the same night as the main

        Championship.

        The Ayrshire Seniors Championship is a 5 round Swiss open to Seniors over 50 at the 31st of January.

        The Ayrshire Masters is a group all play all event with entry by invitation only.

        Other team events are played on a single evening or a day.

In Ayrshire there are 6 events run outwith the auspices of the Association, the Stewarton Bonnet Guild Allegro, Irvine Marymass Congress, the Ayr Chess Congress, Irvine Open, Ayrshire Masters, Ayrshire Challengers, West of Scotland League and the Dumfries Allegro.
