Ayrshire Chess Association.

The Ayrshire Chess Association was created on the Second of September 1906 and was the first county chess association formed in Scotland.

During its existence it has encouraged and supported chess in Ayrshire through organisation of competitions and support for new clubs throughout the County.

At the present moment there are a total of 10 clubs in the County.
